Come celebrate public space and public art at our annual PARK(ing) Day After Party! Join us to meet the creative PARK(ing) Day teams and to view the day's creations, snack on food, share drinks, dance to music, and to find out who will win the highly coveted 2018 Golden Cone Awards.
We'll also feature an exciting, short presentation on how we can reclaim our urban spaces for the good of children, teens, and their families through playful learning and urban design by Dr. Jeremy Sawyer, a Developmental Psychology Researcher, at the Temple University Infant & Child Lab. This year, the Temple's Infant & Child Lab in collaboration with the William Penn Foundation started the Philadelphia Playful Learning Landscapes (PPLL) initiative.
Tickets are FREE for PARK(ing) Day team members (with code) and only $5 for the general public.
