ABOUT ABOUT

Ideal for ages 5-8
Ada Twist's head is full of questions. Like her classmates Iggy and Rosie, Ada has always been endlessly curious. BUt when her fact-finding missions and elaborate scientific experiments go too far, her frazzled parents banish her to the thinking chair. Join us for this reading of a delightful story of curiosity and persistence by Andrea Beaty, Ada Twist Scientist, illustrated by David Roberts. After the reading, do some experiments of your own to figure out what makes buildings and bridges stand up.

About Read + Make Workshops
Explore the world of architecture + design with your 5-8yo child at these fun family workshops! Featuring a reading of a creative tale, your child (with your assistance) will make a project which solves a design challenge related to the reading. A great introduction for young minds to the career opportunities available in the fields of architecture, design, and construction. Workshops are limited to 24 participants each.

Have an older child? Check out our DESIGN + BUILD Workshops!
