ABOUT ABOUT

Celebrate Halloween at the Center for Architecture and Design!

Join AIA Philadelphia's Emerging Architects Committee for a spooktacular time - featuring crafts, magic, and a friendly "Spookytown" to go trick-or-treating through. Lunch is included! Come in costume and/or get your face painted at the party. This event is ideal for children who, for whatever reason, can't easily or safely trick-or-treat in their own neighborhood on Halloween night.

Space is limited - please register early. Three children per adult maximum.

SCHEDULE
10:00 AM | Doors Open
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Face Painting, Crafts, Photobooth, Playtime, and 'Spookytown' Trick-or-Treating
12:00 - 1:00 PM | Lunch + Magic Show

Volunteer architects, designers, and students create Spookytown during an intense one-day design/build session one month before the big event. The resulting village includes fantastical places and characters inspired by beloved children's tales such as Where The Wild Things Are, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Monsters Inc.

Spookctacular is made possible by volunteer architects, designers, and students from AIA Philadelphia, Temple University, Drexel University, and Philadelphia University. This program is presented in partnership between the Center for Architecture and Design, AIA Philadelphia, and the Children's Crisis Treatment Center.
